Thank You for 3 Years of College Ministry!

Hey everyone!

BIG UPDATE: I am transitioning off staff with FOCUS this summer. I have absolutely loved doing campus ministry at Dallas College and UT Arlington these past 3 years. I am so grateful for everything God has done both on the campus around me and in me as He has taught me more about His heart.

I am not sure exactly what is next, though I have been applying to a lot of teaching positions at elementary schools and waiting to see if God opens up any doors. I am trusting God for whatever He wants to do in this next chapter, while thanking Him for everything He did during my time on staff with FOCUS.

Thank you for supporting me financially, in prayer, and through encouragement these last 3 years. I truly feel so humbled and in awe when I think about how God has placed each and every one of you into my life.

As a way to honor these last 3 years, I wanted to include photos of the people who have made it so special - the students and staff I have had the privilege of working with along the way. 

My first small group at Dallas College Richland. While looking at this photo from 3 years ago, it is sweet to see where several of these girls are now. I want to highlight 3 students in particular: Sarah (front of photo) & Devereaux (back left) transferred to UT Dallas and Dyanna (first row on the right) transferred to SMU. All 3 of them stepped up to be leaders with FOCUS on these campuses. It is so neat to see how the seeds we planted while they were at community college got to blossom at a 4-year university.

This is also a picture from my first year of ministry and our small group. It is so neat to see how it grew from the first semester (photo above) to the second semester (this photo). These girls were so good at being invitational to their peers, particularly Thaily (3rd from the left in back row) who had just decided to follow Jesus during the first semester and had such a fire in her to invite anyone she met (from the Starbucks barista to her friends from highschool) to come & see what she had been impacted by.

My small group from my second year at Dallas College Richland! What struck me most about this group was how vastly different everyone's backgrounds and stories were, but how deeply committed through the love of Jesus they were to one another.

These sweet students who were in my small group this past year made this school year especially meaningful. It was a joy to see them grow and get to encourage them along the way.

My amazing copastors at Dallas College Richland - Sandra, Joey and Sirak. I learned so much from each of them and am so thankful to have gotten to do ministry alongside them!

My copastors at UT Arlington - Rhett, Bailey, Madison, Juli, Sophie, Leo, Josh, Graham and Austin. What a joyful, dedicated, hardworking, and fun team! It has been such a gift to work with them this past year and I know they will continue to do amazing things for the kingdom on UTA's campus next year!

Thank you guys for supporting me through the ups and downs of these past 3 years. I could not be more grateful. I love you all dearly!
